Two of my ten week old chickens have swollen eyes and one has bubbly stuff in the corner. Does anyone know what this is?

Bubbly and swollen eyes can point to Coryza or MG. It may be too late to isolate your birds, but if you have the facilities, you can try. This stuff usually spreads pretty fast through the flock.

The treatment most often used by BYC members is the antibiotic "Tylan." It comes both soluble and injectable, and should be available at one of your local feed stores.

Both are very nasty diseases but you can treat it if you get started soon enough. If it's MG, the birds may remain carriers for life.

Best of luck with your girls! Keep us posted!
