Hi everyone!
I do not own coturnix myself but i take care of a small group a few times a week and today i noticed this on one of the hens. Her whole left foot and one toe on the right one are obviously very swollen but she doesn't seem to be in pain/no limping. Could this possibly be bumblefoot?

Vet will be contacted but i would like to hear if anyone knows what this could be and how to treat it in the meantime.
Thanks in advance!

Make sure nothing is wrapped around the foot/toes as well. Wire/string can actually cut into the foot and scales/skin/hair can start growing over it so make sure to dig a little if necessary (soak foot to soften dirt/scabs/dead skin). Get a good light and gently examine with tweezers or forceps, if nothing there proceed to treat for cellulitis/bumble foot. If something is they, gently remove and proceed with bumble foot therapy.
