I have a mixed breed rooster who is exactly one year old with swollen toes. I noticed it just a few minutes ago. I have washed his feet and isolated him. I didn't notice anything else unusual about him. He's eating and drinking and his droppings look normal. It's the same toe on each foot.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'd keep him up in a dry environment for a while and see if anything else develops with him, honestly. Be sure to check him also for parasites all over especially around his neck and vent area on the skin, and for nits (eggs) there as well.

Sometimes overly wet conditions can cause bacterial or fungal infection which may result in swelling. So can leg mites, but those usually happen higher in the leg. You can try drying the toes and putting neosporin ointment on them (no painkiller please). I think just letting it dry out would be the best though.

Thank you.
He hasn't changed since yesterday and he still acts normal. Yesterday was the first day of rain after three weeks of the dryest, hottest weather I've seen here. In the pictures the ground looks wet because I was just trying to clean his feet.
I checked for mites and lice and couldn't find any. Everything else seems completely normal

If I were you I would look up Bumblefoot. It's a staph infection as a result of an abrasion or cut to the foot. Do you see a dark scab-like spot on the toe? Very common in poultry and birds of prey. Please do a search on BYC if you are at all questionable.

Thanks for all the help.
I've soaked his feet in warm water and cleaned them. There is a small brown scab on each of the swollen toes; I think it may be bumblefoot. Tonight, I'm going to soak his feet in epsom salts and tomorrow I'll lance, clean and bandage his feet.
Thanks again
