My EE hen is about 4 yrs old, recently she began losing feathers on her neck, her skin is super red all over especially around her butt. I just washed her butt cus it was poopy and noticed her vent seemed to feel squishy and stuck out more than normal. She lays normally and poops normally and eats fine. She seems healthy but her skin is bright red and shes losing feathers even though we treated for mites/lice even when we didnt see any on her. None of the others have this problem. Im mostly confused on the bright red skin and the vent that seems to be bulbuous and sticking out more than normal. Should I take her to my vet?
