Hello all! Glad to finally join. I've always trusted this sight for real life experience with any questions that have come up with my birds through the years. I was raised around chickens and poultry and I am now enjoying sharing with my children all the memories I have had and making our own. I live in southwest virginia and after years of dreaming about the perfect "chicken house" I'm trying to finish it.
Hopefully from here I will have enough room to breed, sell and keep some of my favorite breeds and spread the hobby. I currently keep barred rocks, sexlinks, blue and lavendar orpingtons and lemon blue oe bantams. I will keep you updated with the progress and look forward to talking to everyone!
