Syringe-feeding Flubenvet 1% to an unwell hen?

Long story short, my hen Nutmeg is underweight, unwell and really not eating much as of the last few days. I took her to the vet a few days ago but they basically said they don't know what's wrong, there's nothing they can do, gave her steroids and sent us on our way. The steroids appeared to make no difference. This morning her crop hadn't emptied and was impacted, so I gave her a little bit of olive oil and a good massage and she passed waste - I'm certain I saw a tiny little worm in it and the waste itself did look unusual, so I've ordered Flubenvet 1% which arrives tomorrow. She is drinking lots of water on her own and the build-up in her crop does seem to be improving a lot so far today, it's smaller and much looser already.

I know she won't eat a sufficient amount of food to get a good amount of the Flubenvet, so I'm wondering if I can syringe feed it to her and if so, how so? Would it be appropriate to mix in critical care formula with it? Clearly she isn't in good shape right now so I want to be very careful with her and unfortunately the vets haven't been able to help. I'd really appreciate anyone's advice or insight. Thank you!

Thank you both for your advice! Unfortunately, Nutmeg didn't make it through the night. Still, I'll make sure to hold onto your advice in case it ever comes in handy in the future!
