Tagging ducks

Hi everyone, I incubated some duck eggs and have 6 healthy babies that are almost ready to go back to the farm I work on. The farm is free-range, and although they will have their own coops to go to at night, they will mingle with the others eventually. I'm wondering what is the best way to tag them so I can identify them from the other 80+ ducks on the farm.

I hear of zipties, but I also hear bad things if we're not careful. Any other ideas?

Zip ties will work as long as you change them out as they grow. You don't want them to end up cutting into the skin.
