Does anyone know the legalities of taking hatching eggs to Mexico. I have a friend that lives there and am taking him an incubator in December. Would like to take his some eggs as well if I can do it legally.

Call the Mexican Embassy (here in USA) and ask there. They should be able to tell you what restrictions are in place. I know that bringing things into the US gets pretty restrictive. The concerns are about new and unwanted diseases/bacteria/parasites/bugs... ECT. I totally agree with the standings by the Agriculture department and other Government agencies for their rules. It is their job to keep things SAFE. :)

How will you be traveling? I live in San Diego and know lots of people who live in TJ, but work here and cross the border via car everyday. I also know you can take food across. I'd imagine unless you explicitly stated they were for incubating instead of eating that's about the only way you'd possibly have a problem.
