Well this starts three weeks ago. My husband hit a stump( I plant flowers in this stump, it has been there for 18 years.) This stump is beside a spot we turn around before going down the hill out of our driveway, but since getting my truck we haven't used it because of going into the yard to make the turn. (truck is a crew cab). Any way he backed into that spot and didn't turn wide to miss it and boom $9700 worth of damage. Back passenger door, running board, the cab corner which is a big section of the cab side that needs replaced and the bed side...

Well yesterday, I came out of the gas station (this is where God protects) I saw that some guy had backed into the side of my truck. If the register wouldn't have froze inside the store which caused me to be a few seconds longer inside. He more than likely would have hit me. He was trying to get to the gas pumps and wasn't paying attention where he was going. He had plenty of room to back up without hitting my truck.

All the damage is on the same side of the truck too....

Thank God for those little things that other wise may have turned out differently.....

Yea, after thinking about it. I realized that it could have been a lot worse. I can replace the truck but I can't replace my life. Calling his insurance company today to get a claim started on this new damage. I am hoping it will be as easy as dealing with my insurance company..

I have a reason to think he may have done it on purpose. He also had damage to the side that hit. My daughter who was sitting in the truck at the time said he didn't hit the brakes once and him and another guy were pointing over to where we were parked talking. IDK and I am not one to accuse. But a young girl sitting in the drivers seat of a truck with prior damage, and when he saw me his facial expression changed.. I am sure my face said it all.
