Okay so I am in Pa and I am looking to get another tat. Basicly an expantion on what I already have cause I plan to have a full back piece some day. All designed by me and done overtime by others lol.

Any way I was wondering who all had tats on here? If your in pa what shop did you them at and why you got there? Was it in color or black and gray?

I have a black and gray but am wanting to add a large color section this summer. I am looking for some one who can do flowers really really well, pink lady slipper orchids to be exact. And I am finding it rather hard to find some one who can do them well actually.

Also I was wondering what you all thought about a sentamental tat, am I the only one? I know fokes get angels with names and things along those lines, but any one else ever get something more unusual, not the typical RIP standards you see all the time?

I have eight or nine tatoos. But they were done back in germany. And my husbands were done in Radcliff/KY and Leesburg Florida. So i am not a big help and the only real good artists in the US that i am aware of are in the S.F. area

Be careful of what you get, You have to think about what it will look like when you get older.
For example, I got a cool spider on my breast when I was 24?ish, It looks like its crawling out of my shirt.....
Well it used to look like a cool spider and now
3 kids and 20 years later.
it looks like a wierd granddaddy longleg!!!!! Hahahaha

Well, I got one on my upper arm. I made the decision, told no one about it until I got it. I means something to me and there's nothing rea

I got it 12 years ago, and it's starting to fade. So I have to figure out if I'll get it redone, add to it, cover it with another or get it lasered off.

IMO, design it yourself, don't get one hanging on the tattooists wall.

Not sure how far you are from Prospect, PA, but there's a place called Mickey's that's been around forever. Got my first tat there the DAY I turned 18, LOL. Got my third there after my 2nd (and last) kid was born.

He doesn't do tats himself anymore (I got a Mickey original, LOL) but his artists are top notch. They show you the instruments they're going to use, that they've been autoclaved, all that.

They do custom art all the time. I have a friend who has her calf done in vines and roses, her own drawing. Very nice.

Good luck!
Em
