That sunken appearance and the bubbles in her eye can be signs of MG or mycoplasma gallisepticum, a chronic respiratory disease. It makes carriers of all chickens in a flock, and remains there until every last bird is gone. Symptoms may be treated with some antibiotics (tylosin, oxytetracycline, tiamulin, or enrofloacin,) but the disease is never cured. Symptoms can come back later during times of stress, such as molting, or severe weather. In Kenya, is there a vet locally, or somewhere to find an antibiotic? Here is a good article on MG:

You’re welcome. I hope it helps her. Don’t forget—your birds who are with her will be carriers for life, so don’t give away birds or sell them, since they will infect someone else’s flock. Culling sick birds is probably the best way to control the spread of diseases.
