Tell me about EE's

Well I was thinking of getting an EE, not really sure about it, but I really don't know anything about them? So I figured i would ask, even if I dont get one I can always take in the info!
My flock consists of Buff Orphingtons, silver laced wyandottes *I so spelled those wrong...* and my two Silkies.
Would anyone care to tell me a little bit about them such as: temperament, average size, average color, what they are like ext...
Or possibly post some pictures of your spoiled little EE's?
That would be an added bonus I think
