Will do!It's best if you separate them 3-4 weeks before you start collecting eggs for hatching (because hens can store sperm from mating with the other roosters.)
But that's still a relatively short time, compared with all year long![]()
It'll be much more pleasurable.
I found someone to swap some eggs with so I'll be able to add new blood. I can keep the new birds separate for a year and compare them to these and decide if they're keepers.
