I have 3 leghorn hens and it's very hard to tell them apart. But yesterday I realized that one's comb goes to the left, one to the right, and one is kind of upright, tho left leaning. I don't know if this is a permanent lean, or if they flop side to side, but I am thinking it's one or the other all the time.
I'm trying to figure out how to tell who's on the nest, because one, but not all are laying fertile eggs....I think it's the Rightie.
That would be her new name. Of course then we'll have Lefty, and Straighty.
If anyone else has info/experience on this subject, thanks in advance for sharing.
