Temp and humidity Helllllllllllllllp!!! :o)

Set my eggs on Friday April 22 in a Hovabator 1602N with a fan put the them tht came with it on the eggs and it is reading 99.5 but the digital them/hygrometer temp is reading 97......humidity is holding steady at 47-48% Do i need to turn up the temp till it reads 99.5 on the digital? Not sure which temp to trust cos the ones they send with the bators are usually junk im told

i have a brinsea and i have a hard time reading the thermometer that is attached to it...
i think it says 99.5 but i also have a digital temp/humididty gauge in there to and the temp says 97. i'm not going to touch it....
i used the incubator last month and got a 100% hatch rate, they were even a day early, do not obsess and keep messi9ng with it... i have found that causes more problems...,.

You are goin to make yourself mental..... i tried that ... i had 3 different temperature readings to fret over.....

here is something else to ease your mind
the thermometer that came with is reading 99.5 and it is near the top of the bator right?
the one you put in is sitting down with the eggs right?
heat rises and also is being absorbed by the eggs which would give you a cooler temp at the bottom.. it is however measuring a decent humidity which is why it is in there. don't even pay attention to the temp part.....

Yeah the themo tht came with the bator is laying on the eggs it reads 99.5 and the digital one is sitting at the bottom the temp never flucuates(*spelling?) it has held steady at 97 since i put the eggs in you have no idea how much you have eased my mind Thank you so much

we will compare notes in a week on candeling day, that will tell us if we are on the right track
