What temp is the incubator supposed to be at? No higher then 101 but no lower then? and I have a Temperature reader with a probe inside a water bag that is supposed to give me an idea how hot inside the egg. Just trying to figure out a good temp to safely stay at and humidity this is a home made wooden incubator box. Any help appreciated I am on day 6 of incubation things seems to be going alright( first timer) was hoping there was time for some improvement thanks

its good for your temp to drop a little, the chicks will start kicking inside the egg and building muscles. this helps with hatch.

your eggs will be just fine if the temp drops to 95* for 24 or even 48 hours. ive had batches drop to 70* for a few hours and still hatch.

most people overthink hatching. its not science, its an imitation of nature; and nature is very unpredictable. conditions will differ from day to day.

Ok good! :) ... ill just let nature take its course hopefully chicks will hatch!
