I went to check on my incubator this morning and the temp dropped to 93 degrees. Will this hurt the eggs so that they won't hatch? I'm now on day 20. Thanks
High humidity can cause a little vary in temp. so can room temp. our nights here have been a little cooler the past few days, but it shouldnt have droed it to 93, never had my hova bator drop like that, it might vary some but not 6 deg. & mine is one of the older ones (square type).
It depends on how hardy the eggs are. My power went out all night a few weeks ago and the eggs dropped down to the 70's. and I lost 6 out of 23 eggs. If you get it up ASAP a few degrees won't be a big deal
The reason I said a little at a time is caues you get in to biga hury with that LG. & it will go to high on you quick cause they are touchy, I ONCE HAD one to.
