Worked for me. Never lost a chick. Of course it being summer, I stopped using the heat lamp when the temp by the chicks was the same as the outside temp. Good luck with your babies.

Mine seemed to find that a bit warm; you can tell by whether they want to be under the lamp or not. We reduced ours to 90 pretty quickly, I think.
