Temp. Help

Hello,
I am wondering how you monitor the temp. in the incubator when using two thermometers and hydrometers. I am using the unit readings (Hova Bator) and a thermometer and hydrometer I placed in the incubator. The unit is reading 99.9 and the other is reading 99.3. The unit hydrometer is reading 51% and inside is reading 56%. Is this a big problem? Thanks for your help.

Has the separate thermometer been calibrated?
A 5% difference in humidity will not be an issue.

Thanks for the advice. I have candled my eggs since this post, and they are looking good. I am on day 16. I have removed a few eggs so far....
