Hello,
I borrowed an incubator from a friend this week so that I could hatch more eggs (since a friend of mine had 31 eggs for me). It stayed stable for 8 hours so I put the eggs in and have had nothing but trouble since then. The temperature would fluctuate by 8 degrees or more with me not touching the thermostat! Today I got a different incubator to try since the first wasn't working out, and in the process of setting up the second borrowed incubator I found out the nice thermometer/hygrometer that the friend had for his (crappy) incubator isn't accurate!!!!!!!
So, my question is: With only 2 full days of incubating gone by is there any hope my eggs in the crappy incubator are resilient enough to still develop and hatch? I honestly have no idea what the true temp was, but the inaccurate thermometer read 97 degrees yesterday morning, stayed stable at about 100, and then read 102 this morning.
