temp spike hits 105.5

i found the incubator has spiked this afternoon to 105 and i dont know how long it was at that temp for i got some eggs that are due this coming friday i last checked on it at 1030 this morning and it was at 99.5 i candle guickly some of the eggs and they are still moving in the egg seem to not be dead so fare

are they going to be ok or retarded from to much heat now if they make it can over heating damge the chick like heat stroke or some thing

They should be alright if it wasnt very long also do not worry about them being retarded chicks from the spike
as it probbaly wont happen

I got up one morning to find mine at 103f, had a ttal panic all day, and candled that night and to be sure the night after. Had a 75% hatch rate!!!
