Hi everyone..
My eggs are on lockdown.. While i was at work for 10 hrs my temp rose to 105.. Will this effect anything.. Im thinking not beings they are already developed.. But still a little worried.. I candled them all before lockdown and all was well....

Oh no! That's very unfortunate. Yes, it will affect them :( Just like any other time during incubation. It'll depend on how long it was at that temp. For 10 hours? I doubt there are any survivors. I'm so sorry.

Still signs of life? I believe that there is a snipet of information about how to manage such a temp spike in "hatching eggs 101". IIRC, you put the eggs in cooler water to quickly cool them off. YOU'd need to find the article to get the details about what temp to use for the water. Yes, too hot is actually more harmful than too cold. So it may have an effect on them, either before hatch or possibly show up as a neuro problem after hatch.

Things are going well. 5 hatched and several pips. So thankful. I sure freaked out when i saw that temp so high. After being very careful the whole time for everything to stay accurate for a good hatch..
