Go to a store, where they sell child safety plugs and cupboard locks. Look for an outlet cover. These prevent plugs from being unplugged. May prevent any future problems. I had to get one for my alarm clock because my cat kept unplugging it.

I had a broody hen get back on the wrong nest and when I got home the eggs were ice cold. I put her back on and she hatched 9/11 and one of the ones that didn't hatch was an early quiter from way before the eggs got cold. She was 2+ weeks in when the eggs got cold so I don't know if it's the same when they get cooled down so early, but I wouldn't give up just yet.

Our power went out 2 nights ago for 7.5 hours, temps dropped to around that. My duck eggs were on day 3 and day 6. When I candled last night I could see slight movement in a few of the older ones, and a spider of veins in others, and in the younger ones I saw a heartbeat in one of the 4 I looked at...so hang in there, at least some, maybe even all of them will be ok...
