Newbie using incubator. Using Hova bator with fan, have temp set at 99.5 with digital thermometer. Locked down on day 18. Ten hatched on day 19. Thirteen more hathed on day 20. Nothing on day 21. Did float test, two fail, 12 still good maybe? Because they started hatching on day 19, can I assume the incy was to warm? With nothing happening on day 21, should I continue or call it quits and start a new batch?

What other signs show that the temp was to hot? These are Mutt chickens.

Yes, 99.5 is perfect, but maybe the digital thermometer was reading slightly high. If the chicks are hatching on day 19 and they're not bantams, then I'd say that the thermometer is most likely slightly off and the temps have been a bit high. I'd imagine that most likely the other eggs aren't going to do anything. But 66-ish% is still a good hatch rate...

Give them more time. People often wait until day 25. Seeing as your temps were high it seems more unlikely that new ones would hatch now but for all we know you could have hot spots in your incubator. Just wait a while, another day or two.
