Hello, friends! Just got my duck eggs yesterday, so we are at day 1 in the incubator. I have the Govee bluetooth thermometer/hygrometer and a cheap Amazon incubator (I think the brand is Good Mother). The incubator is set to 99.7 but is only reading at 92 through the digital Govee inside. Do I just increase the incubator temperature until I get a Govee reading at 99.7? (I'm afraid to set the incubator at 105 but I think I'm just being irrational.) Thank you!

People here report the Govee being pretty accurate. I'd probably go with what the Govee says if it is at egg level. Humidity doesn't have be exact as long as it is close.

As @jher77 says, the govee has a good reputation for being accurate, but that much discrepancy is worrying.

Before cranking up the incubator too much you might want to change the position of the govee and see if that makes a difference. Also with small incubators the room temperature need to be stable, warm, no drafts, not in sunlight, etc or they struggle to regulate the temperature properly. Also worth checking is the incubator sensor (usually black or silver wire) hasn't got tangled and pressing against the heater - that will mess up the temperature too.

Some pictures might be useful for providing more targeted advice.
