Temperature range for chicks / weeks

week 1 = 95 degrees
week 2 = 85 degrees
week 3 = ?????????
week 4 = ?????????

It goes down by 5 degrees per week. Once it hits 70 then the heat lamp can be turned off.

Good rule of thumb....but watch your chicks. They'll tell you if they are too cool or too warm....as they get older, you can turn it back a little.
