Temporarily Red Comb and Cheeks

Nube question here. I through some earth worms and bugs in the run today and the chase was on. I noticed a few of the hens (think they are?) after getting excited their combs and cheeks goat quite red and then after the excitement was over they returned to pink. Is this like more blood flow due to excitement?

Most likely.

Yes this is normal. Sometimes their faces will be much redder, sometimes quite pale, depending on activity and stress levels.

Yeppers, normal...can drive ya nuts when you have pullets close to Point Of Lay.
