In general what kind of temperament do Leghorn roosters have??

I have had two batches of classroom poultry project hatchings of leghorns. From both, the hens were flighty and the roosters never made it past adolescence because I couldn't stand their behavior! Troublemakers extraordinaires.
Of course, your mileage may vary.

I have a feeling that out of my six new chicks I have a male/rooster. I'll wait and see how it goes. :)

Several years ago I had a 25 pound leghorn rooster! He was the meanest creature alive. I hatched him and thought that might mean something, but oh no! The chickens free ranged and no one could go into the yard without being attacked! Spurs flying, beak raging, screaming his head off. He finally killed himself attacking me and broke his own neck. I cried, but he needed it. Good luck. I now have a Dominique roo that I have carried around since he was hatched and he is fine.
