Tent Catpllliars?

They always have been very bad with the row of cherry trees up by the road these are older trees over 20yrs old so pretty big.. i think i recall reading they are actually a host tree?
Wouldn't be surprised they are the host tree, if they are 20yrs old though the caterpillers must not do much damage to them.?

Depends on the year, some are worse than others... i was actually surprised to see any on the apple tree as not too long ago we were still dipping way below freezing at night.
