This weekend my ten year old son was in the woods and found a log full of termites. He brought it up to the run and split it in half termites spilled out all over the ground and crawled in and out of the holes in the wood. At first the hens just looked at it then our most outgoing rooster (Wilder) came running up and started devouring the termites. What ensued was a full on termite eating frenzy. So much fun to watch!
