I have three pens of white-crested bantam Polish that are now laying regularly
and I would like to check fertility. I set several eggs over the weekend, but would like someone else to test-set some. I think different incubation methods give a better idea of fertility. Please realize that I can give no guarantee whatsoever as to fertility of these eggs. I can tell you that last summer I hatched and raised many, many, many Polish chicks!
This is for 8+ eggs from three of my bantam white-crested pens. These pens can produce wc Polish in the following colors: black, blue, splash, blue cuckoo, chocolate, khaki, chocolate cuckoo, khaki cuckoo, black cuckoo (the basic cuckoo coloring) and chocolate cuckoo roos with a double cuckoo gene that will make them paler than regular chocolate cuckoo birds, but not change their color to khaki. Eggs will be collected Saturday, Sunday & Monday for mailing out on Tuesday or Wednesday, 23-24 March, 2010. Eggs will be packaged in bubble wrap, then lined up four to five in a row and wrapped again in a 12" x 12" sheet of bubble wrap forming a "burrito" shape. These burritos are then placed in either Styrofoam peanuts or sawdust as a cushioning agent, and mailed USPS Priority services with delivery confirmation. The winning auction bid, plus $13 shipping, must be sent via PayPal to [email protected] by midnight, Sunday, 21 March, 2010 or the eggs will go to the next highest bidding tester.
I think I covered everything, but if you have questions, please send me a PM and I will be happy to answer! All adult birds in the photos below are breeders in one or the other of these pens, but not all of my breeders are pictured.
The few chick photos are from last year's hatches.
Thanks!
