Thank you...he is one of my worst looking silkies. My other male has such a nice crown but he won't hold still for a nice photo like this one

Here he is with his mate. The blue is the rooster and the black is the hen (she is VERY close to laying finally

Those are some seriously good looking birds! Is that your only silkie hen? Right now I only have one splash hen laying every other day or so...

Beautiful, I mean um... obviously evil. I am now taking these evil silkies off people's hands. I'm already expecting one with a diapey and a barrette. You might as well send that lot to me too.

I will take all necessary precautions, and take the appropriate actions as needed.

Good, now I won't feel stupid having my son bring that blue and black to the fair for his 4 H project

He can't wait. No onthespot, that is not my only hen...I do have one more who is VERY broody right now LOL She is sitting on eggs as I type. Due in about a week and 1/2. I am getting more chicks though
