I have three pens of Delawares that I am having a 90% hatch rate at home for.

I need three people to test, the farther away from Iowa and the most incubation experience gets first priority.

These eggs will be ready to ship next week, and someone who is willing to communicate OPENLY about hatch rates, condition when they recieve them, are located far away, and will speak of general chick health with pics will get first dibs.

I would like to ship at least a dozen eggs from each pen, thus the two week window.

Thanks!

I would love to test also. In Idaho here and hatching out at this very minute. 7 out! I also have a small flock of Delawares now. Sweet chickens, very friendly

I have hatched several batches of different breeds this year and last year. I've had some great results and some with poor (zero hatch) results. The zero hatch were from eggs shipped from California to Maine, so I do wonder if that was too much for the eggs to handle. I live in Maine, so that could test out the northeast for you. I would definately keep you informed of shipped condition, candling results, hatch results and pictures. I love to hatch, love my chickens and would love to try out some Delawares.

If you still need someone, let me know. I just bought a GQF Sportsman and I have lots of room.

I would be interested but I don't want to hatch any right now. But I want to wish the 3 that do good luck and large hatch rates.

If I did any right now I would end up with chickens in my house until spring. I normally only keep them inside for about 2 weeks and that is streaching it. I like to get them used to people. My last hatch went outside after about a week and they are completely unsociable. I like for mine to be friendly.

Anyway, good luck to ya'all

I've been looking for some Delaware eggs...want to add a new bloodline to my flock. We love our Delaware's and am always trying to get better stock with them I'm running bators non stop.Hatched a bunch of JG's last week-100% that made it to day 18 hatched This weekend hatched a few more-shipped eggs with lots of damage Placing more in the hatcher today as well and will be adding another 3-4 dozen this coming week of various breeds.Trying to get the flock I really want.
We also homeschool and this is our science right now so daily records are kept and can be passed on to you as well before and after hatch.
It's turned out to be such an amazing project for her...I monitor the important stuff she does the notes

I am not an extreme distance away from you. I have hatched out all my chickens, several different kinds of Marans, sc RIR, rc RIR, Wellsummers, Barnevelders, and quail. Presently have Penedesenca, Barnevelders, BC Marans in my cabinet incubator, will be adding light Brahmas, Blue BR, coturnix quail and Butler Bobwhite quail this week. My cabinet hatcher is empty until this coming week when I will be moving eggs from incubator to hatcher.
I would be most willing to take pictures of the box, eggs, hatching of the eggs ( if I am home from work to catch them in action ), chicks after hatch and any follow up pictures you would like. Love hatching eggs...LOL
