Testing goats

Is there anything wrong with testing 2 month old kids for diseases such as CAE, CL and Johne's? I know they recommend 6 months but if I wanted to go ahead and do it now then at 6 months is there anything wrong with that? I am about to get some more expensive goats and want to be sure the ones I already have are negative.

They can get a false positive I believe if too young. But if tests come back negative I think you are ok.

I would wait until they were older.
