Just started my flock on tetracycline this morning to treat for a respiratory issue… I know you are not supposed to eat the eggs. However I am wondering if it’s ok to collect and eat todays eggs since they just started the meds today?

I'm sure today's eggs are safe since the ingredients have been in the pipeline for 24 hours before being laid. The egg is in the uterus (shell gland) for at least 19 hours so what is inside was created yesterday.
Thank you! Was my thought process but didn’t know how long everything was in production for ahead of time!
