thank you for all the links. i googled and read all about every kind of respiratory issue last year when it she got it the first time. as i said, she is the weak one of the group and susceptible to everything, i know that once they get it they are chronic, i figured it would flare up again this winter which is why i’m keeping a close eye on how it’s progressing. her colds come and go as winter progresses, im hoping she battles it off but i am being preparedI would suggest looking into all these different common respiratory diseases that can affect chickens.

Most respiratory diseases of poultry are chronic and incurable, but the symptoms are treatable with antibiotics for when they come up. All birds will remain as lifelong carriers depending on the disease.
