My Coop
Hello! I thought I would share my set up as it is working very well in the Texas heat. If you visit my page you can find my chicken coop which is the same concept on a much larger scale. I opted for a three sided coop to allow for air flow. I used an old dog kennel that I already had and attached plywood to three sides, a tin roof on top, and hardware cloth. I house 6 ducks in here only for the night as they free range during the day.
Excuse the chicken in the first pic, she’s not supposed to be in there lol.

Look's great!

May I suggest one thing (?) It might be best to use some small wire to tie the hardware cloth to the posts. Zip ties can get weathered fast and pop off , predators can easily cut through them as well.

Is the floor solid so nothing can dig under?
