Hi! As per requested when I registered...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
~My husband had chickens growing up, they are still new to me. We have had our small flock for about 2 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
~14.
(3) What breeds do you have?
~ 2 Red Sex Links,
2 Black Laced Wyandotte’s,
1 Plymouth Barred Rock,
3 Easter Eggers (green layers).
We have recently added 3 Silkies and 3 more Easter Eggers.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
~ Their crazy chicken personalities!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
~travel?
(6) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
~We are trying to sex the 3 new Easter Eggers and it’s tough! My husband thought he heard one attempting to crow this morning, but I’m unconvinced.
