It's a long weekend!!!! Yeah!! Who else gets Columbus Day off? I tell you working at a school has great perks, so many days off. I don't get paid, but then I don't have to worry about daycare for my kids either.

TGIF has a lot of meaning for me this week

And it couldn't be more true. My son has half a day today and he emailed me and asked me to pick him up from school (because he's got half a day) so we could spend more time together.

I love the silly stuff about being a parent.

Sigh, I am SOOO happy it is Friday. I've had a really rough week. Even though I won't have much time to relax, I will get to see my family. I'm mostly looking forward to a day or two of NOT having to think about college!
