I only have Thai games and I still battle telling the difference. I can tell you though, that the females will mature quicker than the males. By that I mean they will have all their feathers while the roosters will still be growing some of theirs. You'll also soon start to notice some get sharp pointed feathers, not only around their necks, but also where the body and tail meet. If you see those feathers, it's a rooster 100% guaranteed.
Strange as what this may sound, but so far all my buff color ones have been hens, and to be honest, so have all the other buffs I've seen running about over here. One of my buffs just hatched 6 out of 7 eggs during the night
Hope the last remaining eggs hatches today. I need to clear all the broodies out of the coop so they can decide who belongs to who because there are four broodies but only two hatches.
Don't worry if you only end up with two or three hens because I can assure you, the Thai games breed like rabbits
Oh, and once your hens mature and start laying, you had better be quick with collecting eggs because the minute they see an egg, or even hear someone mention one, they go broody
Right now, out of 6 mature hens, 5 are broody. Great for hatching eggs, but bad for breakfast times.
