I've been driving my dog crazy by playing all these rooster and chicken videos <snicker>. She didn't react to this though, must be because this doesn't sound like the poultry choir she's used to hearing.

There are actually several breeds of long crowers, the Denizli fowl is one of them.

Has anyone ever heard of that breed before? I've watched at least a half dozen videos and they all scream like that. Wow, makes me thankful for my little roo's crowing.

Denizli longcrowers have been bred for that very purpose. There are other breeds of long crowers.
