Not new to chickens but first time taking care of them. Got them on March 2022 from TC.

We have 4 chickens. They are 3 barred rocks and 1 New Hampshire.

I like having chickens cause they eat bugs and lay eggs. I love watching them just walking around and looking for stuff to eat.

Have been gardening for a while. Like growing some of our fruits and vegetables.

Have a wife and 2 kids. Have dogs and they took in the chickens so I guess we got lucky there.

Found out about BYC when I was searching about hatching eggs last year(2022). I joined to discuss and learn more cause I love learning as much as I can when I take on a responsibility and I guess that is why I decided to join.

Welcome to BYC!!

Learning as much as you can about chickens is a wonderful goal, and there are plenty of folks here who will be happy to help you achieve it.

I've never had a New Hampshire, but one of my first hens was a Barred Rock, and she was delightful. Bet yours are, too!

Welcome to BYC; We're happy to have you join our flock!
