Hiya I’m Chris and from uk. I came across backyard chickens from googling advice from ‘google’..I grew up with chickens, not many but eventually they died from old age. Fast forward 30 years when I got my own beautiful Rhode Island Red crosses. Fantastic layers. Heart broken when a fox got in and killed the lot…now 20 years on I’ve got 3 duck eggs in an incubator day 18. Not knowing really anything about ducks I’ve been doing lots of research. I’m so hoping to get it right. But candling them they each look at different stages of development.
