Hello, so glad to have found a place that is filled with great info, and people who love their chicks! My family have an acre, but got 6 chicks to start out.. not having much experiance, we fixed up an outdoor playhouse for our sweeties, and jumped in feet first! Found out at about 17 weeks along that 3 of our dear girlies were actually 3 Roo's, and 3 gals, so we swapped with a good friend of ours. Down to 1 Roo who i swear is Satan, even though he is adorable, and 5 of the most personality filled ladies I have ever seen! Just like my kids, they are all so different, but so adorable! Our first egg came yesterday,and we were tickled pink! I do ramble, but thanks for having me.. Look forward to learning as much as I can and swapping awesome stories
