just about got my chicken coop

s all done have a look see the pictures let me know if you see any problems going to take care of my girls
 
how do you tell if they're hens I have Rhode Island Reds best guess is about 3 weeks old

I think you have a great start but do have some suggestions, IMO you need more predator protection:

1- There's a lot of gaps in the coops back wall, cover anything over 1/2 inch with hardware cloth.
2- Looks like only chicken wire surrounding the run, I think you need to add hardware cloth there as well.
3- Theres quite a gap around the door to the run, add some wood framing to close that up.
4- I don't see perimeter protection vs diggers, if none then do add it.

You can post the pics and get more input in the coop/run forum.

Often, you have to wait longer than 3 weeks to be sure of gender. But you can try posting pics in the what breed/gender forum to get some opinions.
