(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had chickens off and on since 2012 but am definitely no expert.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
At the moment, I have 17 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 8 Brahma and 9 Barred Rock chickens.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I like raising Backyard chickens for several reason. The primary reason is egg production but, I want to use my Brahmas as a meat source in the future as well. They are also soothing to watch.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Other hobbies include Motorcycle riding home gardening(if it will stop raining here long enough to plant one, lol) and shooting.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
BYC turned up in a Google search I made about chickens.
