Thanks for the advice on baby chicks roosting!!!

It was quite in the hen house today so went in the pen and looked inside all 5 hens were roosting. I was very happy to see that. Now another question...... I remember my older hens running around all day. These chicks seem to roost more then run around is it because they are young?

Mine are about 5 weeks old, and while they venture out quite a lot, they also spend a fair bit of time laying around indoors. Kinda like teenagers!
