I normally wouldn't candle in a morning, but for some reason, I decided to today. I just checked 5 of the seventeen eggs(these 5 were questionable 2 days ago, the rest were viable) of those 5, I determined that 4 were good, but one looked like it had a chick ready to hatch in it.

How is that? I called husband in and asked him to see if he saw movement. He wasn't much help, lol. I thought it was swirly, and had the idea to smell it after thinking about something I had just read about an eggsplosion. Oh! PEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEW!!!
Thanks to all of you, we avoided a stinky situation.
Chicks are due to hatch the 22nd. Right smack in the middle of VBS! Great planning, haha.

I give mine the smell test everday. So far I had to toss three smellies. I just don't want to experience the Xploding rotten egg dilema. LOL
