We bought a house that came with this duck! Any ideas what the tan male might be? We were thinking a buff, but not real sure.

Thank you!!! It’s a male, which is why we were confused! We thought he was a girl and named him Lady, then He bred our khaki Campbell, so we have been hatching babies!!! Thank you so much for your help!!!

Unless you saw male genitalia he could still be a she. Girls often fake mate other girls. Have you candled your eggs and seen development?

His head just doesn't look like the Buff drake which is dark grey

If you don't have another drake and are hatching babies then I guess your buff must be a drake.

Yes, we have actually hatched them out We have 5 that are 9 weeks old, and 4 that are 6 weeks old, and 2 hatched out on Monday. They are now separated. Lots of Babies!
