our coop is an a frame, , and then there's a door to an outer pen, and then a door out to the yard, very easy to get out of, they get out of it just fine to get the food in the "middle yard" but when all the other chickens are gone, out into the yard, the 3 ginni's always get stuck in the coop and then worry themselves into a tizzy trying to get out with the 9 other chickens in the yard, they know how to use the door, they just always end up thinking they're stuck.

I have come to the conclusion guinnea hens are mutated chickens with no brains. Love mine to death, but...ya know.

Yeah lol, my dad's get stuck a lot, and it's not even truly stuck, I mean it'll walk into a corner, and then freak out and panic and scream because it truly believes it's stuck. He's had to go rescue one or a couple of them several times because they were "trapped" and just continued to scream their fool heads off.

Yea, in the Spring and Fall I leave the gates to my veg. gardens open and one will inevitably get in there and it will start to rain (or whatever) and I have to go in and show it how to get out the opening - again.

They're so dumb, it's a wonder the species survived in the wilds. or maybe wild guinea hens were smarter. they'd better have been lol.
